Criminal Defense – Personal Crimes
A crime that results in harm to another person is a personal crime. It can be physical harm or mental harm. Examples of personal crime include: homicide, murder, manslaughter, vehicular homicide, assault and battery, arson, child abuse, kidnapping, rape and there are others.
Something that I think many people do not realize is that personal crime is both crimes attempted and completed crimes. Another type of personal crime that many people do not consider is shop lifting and vandalism.
